“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” – Romans 1:28-32.
Americans pride themselves on both their religiosity and freedom.
Yet, the United States (as with other collective West countries) is neither predominately Christian, moral, nor free.
Numerous church denominations, religious worship and military deaths have done nothing to protect the principles the founders of the nation instilled. Instead, the country has become a society where “tolerance” equates to promoting perversity and sinful behavior, where its people are motivated by greed…tragically, American soldiers have sacrificed their lives for decades for a nation that at its core rejects God.
The downfall of this once-good nation is a testament to the egregious mistake of thinking that man’s mind must rule dominant – above and before God’s will. Moral decay and all the dark results the country now suffers are because the United States rejected God as its Father long ago.
The semblance of Christianity found throughout the nation’s history and focused on in song and certain holidays is a far cry from the beautiful country it could be now had it not abandoned God. Even self-professed Christians appear to take pride that their country has a separation of Church and State as if that clause protects religious freedom. On the contrary, in its quest to seemingly protect freedom of belief, it has become a nation in which depravity rules and true Christians themselves are persecuted. This is because Americans were so caught up in being “fair” to all they have become unjust to those who profess deep true faith.
While the country implodes with its vast societal ills (drug abuse, homelessness, mutilation/sterilization of children, validation of so-called “sexual identities,” etc.), professing Christians organize prayer vigils and political protests – not realizing that the evils they reject are a direct result of their abandonment of God for decades. For it is the professed Christians who allowed our nation to devolve into the cesspool of sin it is today.
Intending to seemingly protect every man’s rights and freedoms, Christians mistakenly accepted the humanistic idea that to do so requires placing those who engage in extreme immorality on equal (if not superior) standing to those who do not.
A nation that abandons God’s laws in favor of man’s laws made apart from God is a nation destined to die.
It is fear of man’s judgement that sadly motivates most US citizens not the fear of God’s.
The fundamental human rights and freedoms long recognized worldwide are inalienable because they came from God – not from man. Once a society believes these fundamentals merely came from and thus are to be protected by government they have begun their descent into spiritual lawlessness.
As Christians, we are to be the light, but in America, it has become socially acceptable to be a Christian only if you keep it quiet. The apparent obvious understanding of, “Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house,” (Matthew 5:15, KJV) is not put into practice in America. Here, Christians agree to cover whatever light they have until there is none.
It is this millions of Christians did – personally and politically. So much so, there are popular American politicians who claim to be Christians who actively use their political power to advance such evils of abortion, same-sex marriage, and transgenderism to list only a few. These same self-proclaimed “Christian” politicians, of both major political parties, have made the murder of people worldwide in unjust unconstitutional wars their priority if the end benefits the economic needs of their country. Such evil will not go unpunished by God.
Such abominations are promoted by politicians because the majority of professing Christians in the country are shallow in their understanding and faith. In an irrational fear of theocracy, most American Christians think the way the USA operates is the best option – and now, the result is seen by all the world – the United States is a country where violence, drug addiction, the murdering of the unborn, suicide and all manner of depravity is celebrated. It is a perfect example of “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” – Proverbs 14:12, KJV.
What is the alternative?
Unity and peace in a society can exist only in truth. A house divided, a house in which many believe lies are acceptable, will not stand.
Only a truth-driven nation will thrive. And truth is of God.
A God-governed moral nation does not require establishment of a single state-endorsed religion as all traditional faiths share a common morality, all a nation requires is to respect this God-based morality in its laws – thereby protecting each other while creating a society that will thrive and be blessed. But churches of the West have predominately become little more than a social club where people with similar characteristics can feel good about themselves. They are but mere organizations people join in which they obtain emotional comfort. The majority of people in such churches falsely accept that there is an area, government, that must be separate from God’s love and morality. Thus their sacrosanct glorification of the nonsensical “separation of Church and State” belief.
The Marxists have gained such hold of America that they need not persecute most churches and clergy because the churches themselves are proponents of the very evils the State propagates. Only a very few stand boldly for Christ in this country or other Western nations.
Look at the recent blatant example of lack of respect Sweden has shown for the Quran and the resulting rage of those who this offends. This is a clear example of man-made freedom of speech versus a God-based freedom of speech which respects the faith of all. In Russia, for example, Christians live peacefully with Jews, Muslims, and others; it is a country where differing faith or ethnicity is respected and the unity is usually not disrupted. Contrast this with Western “democracies” where differences are “tolerated” not respected and thus conflict/violence sadly often ensues. (In Russia, such desecration is a crime – as it should be. Divisive tolerance is a “virtue” of the West; God’s love is the virtue of Russia.)
I know that a nation can choose again, however, I feel it is highly unlikely there will be such a spiritual conversion of the United States within the next few decades. Frankly, I believe just as the Bolshevik atheists came to power in the Soviet Union, hijacking the country from its people for seventy years, the US has likewise been hijacked by the Marxists. The parallels are sobering.
Thus, I feel those of us who truly reject the sins of this nation and its people, must live our faith and simultaneously take the bold stand to share the truth revealed to us with all – so that some individuals may turn from their wicked ways (as referenced in 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV) and they will be healed and saved. Every individual is precious to God and every individual on whom our light might shine and illumine their heart should be precious to us. Such true followers of Christ will not let disapproval or persecution deter them from living and expressing what God has placed in their hearts.
If a nation and its society do not predicate all upon Divine truth, it is a nation and peoples destined to fail. One cannot regard God as merely a nice concept, or an idea relevant only to certain days or only while in church, and expect their life or the life of their nation to thrive. In this regard, the United States has become anti-God in its politics and its social construct. Worldliness has fully engulfed it.
True Christians will share Jesus Christ first through the life they live – by never engaging in any acceptance of the sins advocated by the government nor its morally corrupt society – and foremost will endeavor to live a holy life.
In the United States, we do not have a system of government where the head of state submits to God and then benevolently serves his people – we have a system of government in which politicians serve themselves. This system is not imposed upon the people – it is a result of the people…a people who, for the most part, have rejected Christ’s calling – a nation which occasionally references “God” in name only not in humble devotion.
Western democracy is a pitiful dangerous God-forsaken ideology void of holiness – void of life – the epitome of Romans 1:28-32. The result of rejecting God will always be death – spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical as witnessed by the current state of the USA and its vassals.
America is dying.
