There is one nation above all which evinces God’s nature, will, and values in its society and toward all humanity: Russia.
After years of deep study of world history and contemplation of God’s word, I have come to the belief Russians are God’s chosen. I firmly believe the Scripture, “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3, KJV) refers to the Russian Federation. It is a spiritual truth and promise of God we are currently seeing evidenced worldwide.
For decades now, many American Protestants/Evangelicals have boldly proclaimed that they and their nation are now what the Bible references when speaking of God’s chosen. Such people identify the USA as a new “Israel” in God’s eyes. Likewise, many cling to the traditional interpretation of the Israelis and their country being who is spoken of to the exclusion of any other.
Yet, in my study of the Scriptures, I see no such correlation – direct or indirect. The believers in Christ, His Church, are God’s Israel, and it is the faithful wherever they may be who God has chosen, called, and works his miracles through.
To begin with, some education of the citizens of the collective West: No country on Earth adheres more to genuine Christian principles than that of the Russian Federation. The people of the nation and it is important to note the vast majority of the hierarchy of government consists of individuals who take their Christianity far more seriously than any known American or other Collective Western politician (more on that in a subsequent essay). Naysayers merely use the projection of their lack of spiritual development onto those they regard as enemies without any consideration of the evidence. The Collective West narrative of Russia is a far cry from reality. Russia is a nation overwhelmingly governed in all aspects of society by Christian Orthodoxy (the first and purest Christianity still practiced today exactly as it was by the Apostles of Jesus). The conclusion I have come to is: The Russians are God’s chosen people. Not necessarily to the exclusion of others, but certainly as a nation, they are the faithful ones evincing God’s will and who are referenced as his “chosen” in the latter days.
When Jesus Christ appeared on Earth, He broke apart the Old Covenant replacing it with the New. Rather than the previous exclusivity of the Jewish people as God’s chosen, the New Covenant brought those who accepted the atonement into that special direct relationship with God through His Son. This was even alluded to or predicted/prophesied by Moses, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel while in the Old Covenant. Rather than written on stone, the New Covenant is written among the hearts of those who love God – those who obey God – listen to God – and seek to please Him in all ways.
It is faith in Christ which establishes who God’s people are. It is those who believe in Christ, wholeheartedly and who ask and receive the indwelling and thereby guidance of The Holy Spirit who God has destined to be His. It is these of whom the Bible speaks both in the Old and New Testaments and encompasses both Israelis and Gentiles who seek this relationship with God. Neither ethnicity or lineage is a prerequisite to being God’s chosen – the only requirement is of the spirit – of the heart – and of these God knew from the beginning.
Peter wrote, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light…” 1 Peter 2:9, KJV.
Somehow, along the way of Western religiosity, it became popular to identify a nation – the USA – as God’s new chosen people. Yet, nothing in the Bible supports this. The free-will acceptance of the gift of the love of Jesus Christ and his Father is available to all. What the Bible does warn of is the twisting of Scripture to align with the humanistic agenda of men’s egos; the equating of the “my country right or wrong” type of “patriotism” with Western “Christian” theology is such an abomination. Far from the humility Jesus taught, it is a dangerous misinterpretation propagated for decades in the West. A Christian nation, though comprised of both believers and non-believers, is a nation that strives to adhere to Christian values, morals, and principles in its society – from governance/laws/international relations, science, health, and societal relationships. A Christian nation would not, for the sake of humanistic/Satanic tolerance, accept and celebrate sin (any form of evil) as the United States and other Western nations do.
We are taught that the chosen of God have been known to Him due to the faith they would evince: “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain…” John 15:16, KJV.
The fruit, a result of such great faith, was evinced by Jesus’ disciples and by those (including us) who continue His one and true Church on Earth. The blossoming of such faith, nutrified by the Vine (God through Jesus), results in individuals and groups of individuals who align, indeed submit, their will to God’s will thereby becoming the vessel through which God works miracles of love on Earth. A clear sign of such individuals with truly developed faith is their unwavering devotion to evincing God’s love through their works. God works through them and no area of life is immune or excluded. They become branches of the divine Vine. Neither ethnicity nor religious tradition defines God’s chosen once Christ came, for his promises now extend to God’s chosen worldwide.
We can know His chosen by their consistent works. Good works, love without ceasing, is evidence of God working through us. It is evidence of one chosen by God. Or as we are also told, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5, KJV.
God’s chosen glorify Him, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16, KJV.
Individuals chosen by God are scattered worldwide – likely not a nation in the world that does not have God’s people in it. However, looking at the world today, there is only one nation as a whole that glorifies God. In its laws, governance, and societal traditions, that nation is Russia. The Russian people have steadfastly exemplified God’s love, values, and will (even in the midst of painful hardships repeatedly inflicted by the Godless).
Every true Christian experiences persecution from the world. The world of God-rejectors hates the disciples of Christ.
“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” John 15:18-19, KJV.
So it is with a nation of Christ – one filled with people and a society predominately faithful to God.
The persecution Russians have suffered at the hands of the God-rejecting majority on Earth has spanned hundreds of years. Take two examples in recent history: In 1917 when the Russian government was overthrown by the God-rejecting Bolsheviks, the Communists took over resulting in millions of deaths from the civil war itself to later incidents such as the Red Terror. Yet, despite immense persecution including the destruction of Churches and monasteries throughout the country by the Communist rule, faith in God remained among the Russian people. Consider, too, that 27 million Russians died in World War II – the critical sacrifice which resulted in the defeat of the God-rejecting German Nazis. The Soviet/Russian sacrifice in World War II is a military and civilian loss far greater than any other nation and yet for a few years the nations of the Collective West have been disgustingly and conveniently for their political agenda omitting mention of or otherwise downplaying the critical role the Soviets had in the defeat of the Germans.
And now, yet again, we see the God-rejectors of the collective West persecuting and attacking Russia.Today’s rampant lies and violence directed toward Russia by the West is yet another evidence of Russia’s righteousness before God. The cultural traditions and spiritual virtues of Russia have never ceased and are stronger than ever.
Hated without reason, just as Jesus was, Russia stands as one of the only nations on Earth ruled with patience, forbearance, and compassion. Likewise, it is ruled by the sanction of the majority of the people with a vehement intolerance/prohibition of the many forms of evil perversity the collective West condones. Russia, with its values, traditions, and laws exemplifies “…where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” – 2 Corinthians 3:17, KJV.
For readers in Western nations, all of this will come as a surprise as we have been bombarded with propaganda consisting of multifaceted lies about Russia for decades. This has been so that our “leaders” can continue with their decades-long documented agenda of one day stealing Russia’s great natural resources by taking it over (either directly or indirectly such as with their color revolutions in which they install a puppet government – just as they did in Ukraine and many other nations worldwide).
To be a Christian nation requires righteousness in the people and thereby a righteous government. To be a Satanic nation requires acceptance of evil in the people and thereby an evil government.
“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” – Matthew 7:20, KJV.
The fruits of the United States are rotten: the majority of churches teaching false doctrine, advocation of anti-family and anti-faith values, educational degradation, support of evil and opposition to those who still courageously speak for God’s will, and a focus on using aggressive force-violence/manipulation/exploitation against all nations who fail to become their vassal.
The fruits of the Russian Federation are beautiful: faith adhering to the teachings of the Apostolic Fathers, focus on traditional family values, love of the sacred and vigilance against evil infiltration of Western Godless values, protection of children from sexual predation and mutilation, encouragement of academic and athletic achievement, and a focus on bettering their nation only by mutual cooperation among and respect for the sovereignty of other nations worldwide.
Amid the spiritual darkness of the USA, there are righteous souls, saints, followers of Christ, however, it is obvious they are an extreme minority.
If not so, the evil which even professors of Christ accept, would not be tolerated. It would be vehemently rejected and refused – the natural God-given revulsion against evil would manifest in the country. Rather, the USA has succumbed to decades of degradation spiritually, morally, emotionally, and intellectually. Tragically, most of its churches accept and extol sin from the pulpit, and most of its professed Christians have not guarded their hearts either.
American hegemony (world dominance at the expense of others) is celebrated and sought at all costs (even the deaths and other persecution of innocents worldwide); starting wars worldwide is its big business and human life and death is of no consequence to its agenda. Domestically most Americans have chosen to be “woke” caring more about what the secular majority thinks of them than what God says. Sadly, this is nothing new. For decades, my country rather than focus only on its development has rather used its military might and economic prosperity to control/destabilize other nations of which it has no right to do so while intervening/subverting in matters of other nation’s sovereignty. (What other country has over 800 military bases worldwide? None. Add to this the many unjust wars, torture camps, spreading parts of its nuclear arsenal worldwide while protesting other nations having such defenses, and its support of color revolutions/coups/regime change operations against governments who do not comply with their control.) Likewise, domestically, it has fallen to the embracement of every perversity known to man all in the name of humanistic tolerance. In such a short time, the USA has relinquished its Christian-based founding principles in favor of Marxist ideology/rejection of God. It is a country that does not heed God’s warning, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil…” – Isaiah 5:20, KJV.
As for Russia, its Christian establishment, was enshrined by Saint Vladimir (Vladimir the Great) upon his conversion in the year 987. Having rejected his previous Godless life, he embarked on the holy journey for his path and the path of his people. His courageous Christian reign resulted in the baptism of many, the building of numerous churches, charitable acts of education, and provision for the poor…the establishment of the fundamental foundation of holiness for his people. As the Russian people learned of and embraced Christianity, rejecting their previous pagan idolatry and greed, their faith became the shaper of their civilization ever since.
When the Soviet Union collapsed there was much economic and social suffering. Having slowly but surely restored a government and economy matching the people’s values and beliefs, the Russians became determined not to let their nation fall to the Godless worldly atheists ever again. The people and government decided to not allow Collective Western values to take over their society despite the economic trials they faced. They did not sell out, and it is why they now thrive. Choosing to follow the path of the Cross was Saint Vladimir’s decision and has been the decision of the Russian people thenceforth. With it has come unceasing persecution from the Satanic-following nations of the world as the rage increases against a nation that will defend itself against threats to its sovereignty – a nation that rejects the societal evils condoned by the Collective West.
How to tell which nations are truly following God? One measure to separate the wolves in sheep’s clothing from the true followers of Christ is to observe who bases their nation on lies, for Satan is the father of all lies, and a nation that consistently relies upon lies to its people and the world is a nation following Satan. It is one of the clearest spiritual indicators to help discern the reality in geopolitical matters. In this, the Collective West openly identifies as it lies its way into unjust usurpation of other countries through Unconstitutional military interventions, cruel sanctions, fifth column operations/color revolutions causing unrest until regime changes occur, coercion, all the while telling its people it’s “spreading democracy” and “defending freedom.” The New World Order which globalists speak of is the establishment of Satan’s power in every nation which joins with its evil agenda. The average American, void of historical/geopolitical knowledge and spiritual maturity, falls prey to many lies and then joins in the wickedness.
On the contrary, and in diametric contrast, the Russian Federation is at the forefront of cooperation/trade/respect and even charitable provision with other nations. It leads the way, fulfilling multiple prophecies of the saints, in making itself available to exact God’s will upon the Earth – acting as a peacemaker and if/when necessary a tool through which God will bring His justice upon nations who have chosen to reject his Son and who continue to persecute His chosen. The endless tensions between Russia and the West are not political – they are spiritual – a major part of the spiritual war between good and evil which accounts for everything we see and experience.
To live in today’s world is a time to witness the transformation of humanity. American Christians truly seeking truth (regardless of denomination) must ask for the guidance of The Holy Spirit to rightfully discern and interpret in clarity what they see for themselves and not merely accept and repeat what is heard from their corrupt government and those in their (often) heretical “Christian” Churches which proclaim to be Christian but who have ceased to preach the “go and sin no more” message of Christ). To be a true Follower of Christ requires seeking truth, critical thinking, and courage. This requires Christians in the Collective West to venture outside of the propagandized Russophobic box they’ve been placed within by their governments.
We can learn much from the Russians and their Orthodox faith – we can learn to wisely and bravely maintain a Christian life and profess our faith despite societal persecution. We can also learn that it has been a drastically harmful mistake to have separated faith from governance.
“Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10, KJV) must be evinced by each of us in deed and word – including our dedication to its priority in every aspect of the society/country we live in. This is, in part, what Holy Rus constitutes – bringing the love of Christ into our society and its culture.
However one regards Biblical statements and prophecy, it is without a doubt that only a nation enlightened by Christ Jesus…are His chosen. In this regard, Russia has been and remains the oldest and now the only nation to steep its society in Christian principles, traditions, and values. The recognition and love of Holy Rus is of the heart – not of geography, ethnicity, or anything else. A nation comprised of monks, priests, faithful practitioners/believers of Christian Orthodoxy, and those who may not identify directly with a Christian denomination or may be of another traditional religion who incorporate the same traditional ethics and morality is a nation whose society will thrive. It is blessed by God. Such is Russia. Its light shines for all to see.
I reiterate – I believe God will bless those that bless Russia and God will curse those that curseth Russia. The Collective West has been warned, and if they do not cease to persecute God’s chosen, God will exact His justice upon them as it is He to whom they must answer.
